Fine Artist

Laura Juncker graduated from Pratt Institute in 2014 with a BFA in Fine Arts-Painting and a minor in Art History. In Brooklyn, she worked in every medium possible to find what suited her best and found great love in painting. Working with colors and shapes to represent external reality was what pushed her to make art and through school she learned how to translate that to express internal feelings. Her most recent works are both playful and melancholy. The paintings are bittersweet and beautiful. Currently she resides and makes art in Downtown Los Angeles.

She completed Sotheby’s Institute of Art online Career’s in the Art World course in 2020. She was awarded the Traub Scholarship for Artists in 2010 and chose to study Fine Art in Paris. Laura has won the Norm Stewart Visual Arts Award, honorable mention at Our Town Exhibition (Birmingham, MI), 15 Gold and Silver Keys at The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. She is also a featured artist in Art From the Hills Exhibition.
